The successful candidate will have an opportunity to interact directly with clients and internal business partners on complex and compelling issues. Web Developer

CommunityLeader is a leader in the emerging Equity Crowdfunding market. We provide a comprehensive Crowdfunding technology and service platform to organizations, M&A firms, brokers/dealers, business professionals and crowdfunding portals. Our technology engine supports the CampaignLeader and CommunityInvestor mobile applications for businesses and investors respectively.

Equity Crowdfunding provides small and growing private business access to capital they need to grow directly from their community of customers, suppliers, friends, and advocates; and is projected to to grow to a half a trillion dollars by 2016.

This is a key position in our product development team. Responsibilities include:

  • Program, deploy and support customized versions of the CampaignLeader application
  • Program, deploy and support customized versions of the CommunityInvestor application
  • Participate in the upgrade of the web-based applications and UI interfaces
  • Participate in integration with the Apicista Crowdfunding engine.

Other team members include:

  • Graphic designer
  • Application development expert
  • Integration specialist
  • Technology project manager

Prerequisites:

  • Proficient: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Cross-browser development, and QA testing.
  • Knowledable: PHP, MySQL, SEO.
  • Comfortable: CMS's like Joomla and Wordpress is important.

Preferred Characteristics:

  • Comfortable adapting and problem solving in a fast paced team environment.
  • Effective and prompt communication, both verbal and written.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented and responsible.
  • Understanding of basic quality control measures including Q&A and A/B testing.
  • Passion for visually appealing UI design and overall user experience.
  • Motivated to learn and implement emerging technologies and development strategies.
